The Utah Roaster Pigs Difference
By ordering your next pig for the occasion (be it for the big game, a big birthday party, that family holiday gathering, or whatever the occasion) through Utah Roaster Pigs, you not only guarantee high-quality meat for your gathering but also regionally-sourced. None of our pigs are obtained overseas or from outside the US. We only procure pigs from nearby high-quality farms right here in the western United States.
Additionally, we offer live pigs or cleaned and roast-ready pigs. For an additional fee, we can have our partner Chef roast or smoke your pig!
The History of Pig Roasting
The tradition of roasting a whole pig over an open fire or in a pit can be traced back to Ancient Roman times. Over the course of time, the methods and techniques may have changed, but the art of roasting pigs remains the same.
Whether one is roasting a pig on a stick over a pit or fire or one chooses to smoke a pig in a modern smoker, roasting pigs continues to be a time-honored tradition in many cultures.
